The National Library "Đura Jakšić" points all its activities towards the improvement of the cultural and educational development of the municipality, providing opportunities for the citizens to satisfy their educational and cultural needs.

The library is a modern and functional facility that covers more than 300 square metres, designed specifically for the needs of this institution. Users have the opportunity to use the reading room, children's department and of course the borrowing department for adults. The Native Department holds a very special place, where in addition to the native collection the Legacy of Professor Branko Lazić is kept. There is also a department for book processing along with a reference collection, which consists of encyclopedias, scientific and professional literature. Today, our library boasts a large number of publications from almost all the areas of human knowledge, and the professional staff employed in the library is always friendly and ready to meet the needs of even the most demanding readers.
