Visitors, that are attracted to slightly more extreme mountaineering , specificaly interesting is " Homoljska transferzala " , central hiking path through Homolje mountains ( Kučevo , Ceremošnja , Big Sumurovac , Big and Small Vukan, spring water Four pipes , Monastery Gornjak, Ježevac , Krupajsko vrelo, mountain peak Vodna , Beljanica , Žagubički buk - overall lenght 120 km ). It"s rich with natural resources , forests , spring water, streams, mountain peaks, as well cultural sights.

The natural resources of municipality Petrovac na Mlavi shire in the form of mountainous terrain are abundant with attractive trails and mountain biking that attracts more and more fans of this activity.

Gornjačka gorge through which the river Mlava flows is interesting to climbers as well. In Gornjak there are already alpinist paths of varying weights. The most attractive is " Via Ferrata " or " steel road " - track equipped with steel wedges and ziplining , which makes it easier to climb the rock. This neat alpinist path at the entrance of Gornjačka gorge is 1 100 meters long and has 12 sections of different weight. Across the street from Via Ferrata, on the very banks of the river Mlava is a restaurant with delicious trout , and premises of mountaineering society " Gornjak" where it is possible to rent the equippment and services of licenced mountain guide.

Municipality of Petrovac na Mlavi is a very interesting destination for both bikers and other fans of extreme moto sports ( driving jeeps and quads on heavier accessible terrain ) and for paragliding enthusiasts. The best known takeoff for paragliding is on the mountain peak Krilas.

In the village of Kamenovo there is also an adrenaline fueled jeep-driving track which also features a race of off-road vehicles.
